The problems of the Students are invariably related to the education system. Availability of study centers, libraries, hostels, facilitation centers is of prime importance to them. If these facilities are provided the students will face exams confidently. As a representative from the Konkan Graduate Constituency, I feel these issues are at the very core of my heart.

Constantly striving to solve problems and find solutions

The candidate who gets elected from the Graduate Constituency is ultimately a people's representative; as such, he is closely associated with their problems. Whether the question is related to Thane junction, or the traffic problems in Thane, or the processing industries in Konkan, I promise to raise these issues in the house.

Education must generate employment

Education must create and translate into viable employment for all. Education itself must be employment oriented. To achieve this, the government must take special efforts. A system must be created that works towards encouraging educated youth and graduates to take up small businesses. Obtaining loans from banks and credit societies should be simplified. I promise to work in this regard.

To make life more enriching and beautiful, one must work for the development of art and sports. At the same time, it is essential to have an environment of harmony and friendliness all over. Our organization 'Samanvay' is dedicated to this. Thane has been a witness to several magical moments- at times it has welcomed stalwarts and legends like Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Upendra Bhat, Ajit Kadkade who lit up musical evenings. On other occasions, the cheer and spirit of sporting events like boxing matches and swimming competitions have had the whole of the city experiencing an enthusiasm.
